Gender Representation
In our film the main character will be a male and he will fulfil all the usually male characteristics of being strong and quick thinking and brave.
We see him show these characteristics when he is in battle all alone against the zombies. Also we see him showing his quick thinking when he realises that to finish his cure off he needs the special chemical from the doctor and quickly thinks of an action plan to get it from him.
We see the main character fulfil the trait of ‘uses confrontation - not negotiation’ this is also clear to us when we see Michael decides to go ahead and kill all the zombies himself not that he has a choice because he is all alone and has to fight for himself. Which also links into another trait of ‘feels success and victory is important’ he wants to get everyone back to normal and stays focused on being successful on his task to turn everyone back to normal and end the madness.
