Type 2 (Idea 1)
Main Plot
A normal family live a happy life. Until young female is infected with Ebola type 2. Doctor approaches her with trail cure that has never been done before involves advance gene therapy. They say yes. They think it works turn it into a vaccine. Give it to people with Ebola but long term effect is that it turns them into a zombie army.
Normal Things People Like In Horror Films:
Young girl is affected. But she is cured however everyone with the Ebola vaccine try and kill her as she is the only one surviving.

Unique Selling Point:
The person with the infection ends u fine but spreads it and starts the zombie army. So she starts the infection that back fires on her.

London slaughter house (Idea 2)
Main Plot:
A group of university students all live in the same flat in a penthouse suite an turn into serial killers and kill the university lecturers In each department as the works too hard. Physics department is the only one to survive and is scared but they kill him too.

Unique Selling Point:
Uses a normal serial killer theme of horror films but it is completely different storyline by using university students that attack lecturers.
Aliens In Command (Idea 3)
Main Plot:
Aliens from a different planet come to earth to help humans fight a disease that is already spreading. But these aliens end up catching it ad attack the human race.

Unique Selling Point:
Aliens start off helpful rather than them starting off as the bad guys.
Why would people like these films?
People would enjoy these films because they follow the normal conventions of a horror film in that one of the films includes a serial killer and aliens which are some conventional narratives that horror films follow. These will be familiar to horror film lovers and they enjoy watching these films as they have an element of familiarity but also some originality. I have used the ratio 70% familiarity and 30% originality.
Stage 2- Group feedback on chosen idea
Stage 3- Group Concept Development
For our main film concept we are going to use the Ebola main idea. But together we have revised the ending. For the ending we have agreed that the doctor has a cure that he is hiding so to save the world she has to get that cure from the doctor. She uses her intelligence to overcome all the zombies and to finally kill the doctor and for her to drink the cure to turn everyone back to normal.
We used Ebola as our main selling point because no other horror film has been based on Ebola and because it is very popular in the news it will make it very popular for people to watch.
The narratemes used in the film are the task is resolved, hero and villain come into direct contact, villain is defeated, difficult task proposed, villain attempts to receive victim.
